These features feature the PLANOMAT XT as a universal, robust and powerful flat and profile grinding machine, which consistently builds on the experience and quality of the very successful PLANOMAT HP. To meet the diverse needs of production and flexible technological applications, BLOHM has developed the new machine as a series of machines. The extensive range of accessories combined with the PLANOMAT XT modular system (sizes from 400 x 800 to 600 x 2000 mm) makes this new generation of machines an optimal grinding machine for all customers. In addition to high-quality machine elements such as ground ball drives, optimised ductile cast iron and precision linear guides, this generation offers the possibility to visualize screens for coolant, state and process monitoring according to Industry 4.0. The PLANOMAT XT combines several technologies in one machine: It can be used for traverse and deep grinding as well as rapid stroke grinding with the optional linear direct drive (LDA) in the X axis.
