The quasi-static breaking load test stand is used to determine the break resistance of constant velocity drive shafts. Two parallel shaft transmissions are connected by the test specimen and an adjustable slave shaft. Torque is applied to this torsion unit and the test is started.
•Cooling and non-contact temperature measurement
•Determining the degree of efficiency and angle of twist
•Transmission one adjustable in the longitudinal direction
•Transmission two rotatable vertically and adjustable in the longitudinal direction
•Fans for cooling of joints
•Non-contact temperature measurement of the joints
•Selectable torque or torsional speed control
•Determination of degree of efficiency/twist angle
