Stainless Steel Mini Pillow Block Mounted Unit Bearings with Eccentric Locking Collar (SUP) have stainless steel housings and stainless steel inserts. Pillow Blocks have a bearing fitted into a housing and are used when the bearing mounting surface is parallel to the shaft axis. The housing is bolted to a foundation through the holes in the base. The locking collar has a recess made eccentric to the bore. When assembled on the shaft, this eccentric recess engages with an eccentric cam end of a bearing's inner ring. The collar is engaged on the inner cam of the bearing. This assembly grips the shaft tightly. The collar set screw provides additional locking.
