The compact class. Lighter models with a big performance.
All construction projects have one thing in common: they require load-bearing subsoil. Which is why single drum rollers play a crucial part in the construction process. Specifications, however, are highly diverse. A contractor working next to a house has to use an entirely different compaction method to that used in conventional road construction. BOMAG offers a wide range of single drum rollers for every type of work.
BW 124, 145 and 177-5: Compact, manoeuvrable, versatile. Our single drum rollers in the three to eight tonne weight class are the perfect choice for small to medium-sized sites.
Fields of application
Soil compaction – a key application in civil engineering to achieve sound foundations.
For light and medium compaction work. The D-series models are suited to compacting non-cohesive soils (sand, gravel, rubble), weakly cohesive soils and hydraulically bound materials. The PD-models are primarily used on strongly cohesive soils with a high water content. H-series models distinguish themselves through high gradeability and drives with more powerful torque capacities. They are designed especially for working in trenches.
Technologies
The BW 124 has one frequency and two amplitudes as standard. Both are perfectly matched to the static linear load of the roller for reliable compaction results across a range of earthworks applications. This model provides contractors with massive compaction power for this class of roller
BOMAP
With BOMAP, you can monitor the results of your soil and asphalt compaction in real time, regardless of the manufacturer. The app is immediately ready for use after installation.
