Frequency Inverters, or VFDs as they are commonly known, are the most efficient way to drive a fan motor. Frequency Inverters allow electric motors to consume less energy by regulating the inrush current. It provides energy savings up to 70% especially in fans and motors that make frequent stop / start. In addition, the fan flow rate can be increased or decreased by adjusting the frequency of the fan motor.
