The compact design of the embedded ctrlX CORE control saves up to 50% of space in the control cabinet compared to conventional control platforms. The powerful 64-bit multicore ARM CPU means that it can be used in almost all applications. The ctrlX CORE control is a flexible, open and industry-suitable control platform which allows users to assign additional functions to the control with ease in the form of apps. The ctrlX store contains a vast selection of Rexroth and third-party apps. In addition, the ctrlX device portal enables the centralized output of software functions or remote maintenance via several locations. The ctrlX CORE in its compact form completes approx. 70% of all general automation applications. In addition to the expanded interfaces, the modular version, ctrlX COREplus, provides the possibility of attaching on-board I/Os. A scaled hardware version is available for simple PLC and motion applications.
