The powerful engineering package MTX Workstation provides all functions for the project planning and testing of the MTX CNC system directly at the engineering workplace. A virtual variant of the MTX CNC system consisting of the original CNC core and the IndraLogic PLC offers the possibility to map extensive machine configurations as digital twin. Customer-specific cycles, the kinematics behavior or special CNC functions can, for example, easily and efficiently be tested and optimized at the workplace. On the basis of the virtual CNC system, complete machine projects are created making it possible to simulate machine processes and to ensure the correct interplay of logic and motion control. After successful pre-commissioning, the project is then transmitted to the real control. This procedure increases the software quality and reduces commissioning times at the real system. Using the supplied CNC operating interface MTX Operation Desktop, all processes can be visualized and operated as at a real machine. The integrated machining simulation allows for the verification and optimization of CNC programs. In the standard scope of delivery, the machining process is visualized with work piece and tool in 3D. Using the "Virtual Machine Simulation" option, complete machines can be mapped as 3D kinematics model. This allows the machine manufacturer to check their construction for correct behavior of the kinematic transformation and for collision resistance. The MTX Workstation provides all options to map complete machines controlled using the MTX CNC system as digital twin.
