By default, the CNC system MTX contains a simple CNC machining simulation that considers the relative motions of the tool and the workpiece. With the software option "Virtual Machine Simulation", you can simulate an entire machine tool. The machine model contains kinematic relations (axes) as well as 3D geometries of the machine, the equipment, the workpieces and the tools. A digital twin of the machine is created by connecting with the virtual MTX as well as integrating the 3D window into the original MTX user interface. In addition to the scope of functions of the MTX, the usual simulation functions such as machine movements with representation of the tool path, material application/removal and collision detection are also available. The optional "Virtual Machine Builder" is necessary for the set-up of the required kinematic models.
