WHAT DOES IT DO?
The UCT (Ultrasonic Concrete Tester) ultrasonic testing equipment is a portable system for non-destructive testing of the quality and characteristics of materials to evaluate their homogeneity, fractures, voids and CLS resistance.
STRENGTHS
Compact, portable and robust instrumentation;
Good accuracy and resolution;
Easy to use;
High autonomy;
Test data storage capacity with memory for up to 30,000 samples.
DESCRIPTION
Portability, lightness of the system and measurements via the portable unit, allow even a single operator to perform all the operations to acquire data during the tests.
With the UCT system, ultrasonic investigations are possible that allow the determination of the elastic-dynamic characteristics of materials, evaluating the degree of homogeneity, presence of any fractures or cavities, and in combination with sclerometric tests, the resistance of the material under examination.
EQUIPMENT
The instrument is supplied with its accessories in a shockproof PVC transport case, containing:
UCT portable acquisition unit;
Two probes, one transmitting and the other receiving at 55 kHz;
Pair of 4 m TX/RX probe connection cables;
Cylindrical calibration verification sample (complete with calibration certificate issued by the LAT Centre);
Rechargeable NiMh battery pack of 4.8 Volts and amperage greater than 2000 mAh;
External 230V power supply and 12V battery charger.
