DESCRIPTION
The Boviar sclerometer is a practical and easy-to-handle instrument used to estimate the surface hardness of concrete. Produced with selected components and accurate mechanical processing, this instrument is at the top of the quality range of sclerometers, guaranteeing high precision in test results and reliability over time. Built with top-quality materials, it is subjected to quality control checks and calibration procedures.
The sclerometer consists of a spring that contrasts a percussion rod that is in direct contact with the concrete surface. The mass loaded by means of the spring, with a constant amount of energy is released and made to hit the surface, the instrument allows to measure the rebound index. With the same conditions of the instrument (calibration of springs, friction, weight of the mass and hardness of the tip), the measurement of the rebound will depend exclusively on the physical-mechanical characteristics of the material being examined.
EQUIPMENT
The instrument comes with its accessories in an aluminum transport case, containing:
Plastic grid to mark the sclerometric impact points;
User manual;
Protective cap;
Abrasive stone;
Semi-rigid container in non-woven fabric.
Certificate of verification of the correct functioning of the sclerometer at the calibration anvil.
