The TFD8000 is a militarized time and frequency system has been qualified to rigorous military standards and uses modular construction to ensure complete flexibility and easy maintenance. The TFD8000 is the US Navy’s program of record Time and Frequency Distribution System (TFDS) and is fully supported by the Navy’s supply system. Single, dual and triple redundant models are available. Over thirty standard options are available. Oven controlled and Rubidium time bases are available. Both types are disciplined to the GPS satellite system.

The TFD-8000 is the flagship of the Brandywine Communications fleet. It is a highly reliable, extremely flexible time and frequency source. Reliability and maintainability are features that were "designed in" to the Brandywine Communications TFD-8000, not added on.
Applications include Master Clock for ships and submarines, Military Secure Communication (C4I), Test Range primary time and frequency standard, Communications satellite ground station support, standards and calibrations laboratories.
