Description

Encased protective transformers – isolating and safety isolating – are intended mainly for applications requiring protection against electric shock and IP44 protection grade of the casing. Portable version is provided with a metal casing isolated from the protective circuit and the transformer.PFM encased transformers are cast resin transformers. The electric circuit features the following components: transformer, power cord with a plug, signalling lamp, thermal fuses with pushbuttons, and output sockets. Plugs and sockets are components intended for general applications or CEE type components at request. Grade II insulation class (plug and double contact sockets, 2-wire power cord) type designation code ending with “0”. Grade II insulation class with continuous protective circuit (plug and socket with optional protective contacts connected to a protective wire of a 3-wire power cord) – type designation code ending with “1”.Rated ambient temperature of 25°C, thermal class of insulation B (130°C).
