The combination of single-layer dies and co-extrusion feedblock allows flexible layer configurations to produce more complex composite films and sheets with fast changeover-times.
A further interesting matter is the combination of multichannel die and a coextrusion feedbloc. In this way different layer designs are possible.
Features: fixed distributor insert
Application: Clear sheets and films made of PETG, PC, PMMA, etc.
The feedblock is used to process materials with similar flow properties for one or two additional layers. Due to the dead zone-optimized flow geometry, it is particularly suitable for use in crystal-clear applications (UV protection on transparent films or sheets).
Furthermore this feedblock is also used in multi-channel dies to create additional layers of similarly flowing materials in the main channel. This makes it possible, for example, to produce five-layer products with a three-channel die.
Features: Adjustable distribution during operation via rotary elements and vanes
Applications: Multi-layer sheets made of HIPS, ABS, TPU, etc. for technical applications, film for thermoforming made of PET, PP, HIPS, etc.
Due to the adjustable rotating elements and wings, this feedblock has a high level of flexibility in terms of processing materials with different flow properties.
Feedblock Type Rectangle - Manifold (adjustable)
Number of layers: 7
Features: Adjustable distribution during operation via rotary elements, specific edge encapsulation
Applications: Multi-layer polyolefin films with an EVOH barrier and adhesive layer, e.g. as a coextruded tube laminate
