The MAGNEHELIC differential pressure gauges in the 2000 series are particularly suitable for measuring positive, negative (vacuum) or differential pressures within a range of 60 Pa up to 30 kPa, and within a range from 30 Pa up to 10 kPa for mid-scale zero point indication. Except for the gauges with ranges 0–60 Pa and 0–100 Pa which must always be
mounted in vertical position, other gauges can be mounted in any position from vertical to horizontal. However, they have to be zero-gauged after installation. The core of the M2000 differential pressure gauge is a magnetic coupling between diaphragm and pointer. A diaphragm with an integrated O-ring separates the two pressure compartments. The motion of the diaphragm is transmitted by means of a rigid connection to a leaf spring especially adapted to the respective measuring range. Mounted on the flexible end of the spring is a small permanent magnet which deflects the pointer fixed on a ferromagnetic helix shaft on a sapphire bearing. Plastic casing U150 for surface mounting. The M2000 Magnehelic differential pressure gauges can be integrated in a plastic casing (U150) for surface mounting. The plastic casing U150 consists of two parts: The front part houses the pressure gauge Magnehelic 2000 and is ready for connection. The rear part is readily utilisable
for mounting without its front counter-piece at the respective measuring point by means of M4 cylinder head bolts. The front piece with the pressure gauge does not have to be mounted on the already fixed rear part until commissioning. For measuring ranges of the
Magnehelic differential pressure gauges and for technical data, please refer to the Series 2000 data sheet.
