The GrainStain 2020 is designed to carryout rapid staining tests on seeds, particularly barley and wheat. Precision control of temperature, vacuum and time allows carrying out staining under reproducible and standardised conditions. This ensures optimum staining performance. The GrainStain 2020 has just recently been re-engineered using the latest technology, with all controls and alarms been done through a 4" colour touch HMI. Powered from an external 24Vdc it can accommodate several samples at once or in an overlapping sequence. GrainStain 2020 is completely self-contained with its own integral vacuum pump. Electrically heated sample tubes fitted into a corrosion resistant aluminium casing and sealed with push fit tops. The vacuum and vent function is individually controlled via the HMI . Tubes are individually heated, and temperature is controlled by an electronic sensor with set-point of 400C.
