Alloyed copper bars suitable for a wide variety of applications: from electrical to construction. Available in two delivery options: square or round
The alloyed copper bars available in our catalogue are manufactured in two types of alloys: weakly alloyed copper and copper-nickel alloys. The former is characterised by copper as the main element with other elements added in relatively small proportions – these amounts are usually below 5%. The aim is to add other metals to improve certain properties of copper without significantly altering its basic characteristics.
The copper-nickel alloy has very good corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments.
Copper bar is an essential component in the bar turning process because of the material’s properties and its application in various industries such as electrical and telecommunications. Copper has good machinability which allows the production of high precision parts with smooth surfaces and complex shapes. The use of copper bar in bar turning allows the efficient production of parts in large series with very tight tolerances. This is especially important in the electrical and electronics industry, where precision and reliability of components are crucial to the operation of systems.
