Description

BROSA tubular load cells measure radial forces on an axis with a constant or variable force transmission direction. BROSA tubular load cells can be used as an alternative even on axes which were previously not suitable for force measurements due to their dimensions or deflection. Moreover, the combination of several tubular load cells on one axis is possible. Optionally, BROSA tubular load cells can be fitted with an integrated angle sensor which detects the inclination of the sensor. The resultant force or, with the angular version, even the line pull can be issued as an output signal. There is a wide variety of applications in which our tubular load cells are used. Here are just a few examples: Our tubular load cells measure the forces that occur in •Pulley heads •Boom tips •Bearing positions By default, our tubular load cells offer additional features in addition to a customized design: •Integrated amplifier (4-20mA, CANopen, optional CANopen Safety, PROFINET, optional PROFINET PROFIsafe) •Design capable of sustained operation •Temperature compensated from -40 ... + 80 °C •High EMC resistance of 200 V/m •No zero drift, i.e. no re-calibration required •Consistent accuracy over the entire temperature range •Design for tensile and / or compressive forces •Load limit 150% and breaking load 300% of the nominal load •Security classification PL c / SIL 1 •Protection class IP66 / IP67 in accordance with DIN EN 60529 •Calibration of reproduced installation situation including test report
