Description

BROSA force measuring pins MEMS are a further development of the tried and tested BROSA force measuring pins that enable the direct measurement of the rope load in crane booms. An integrated MEMS sensor allows the calculation of the suspended load depending on the position of the boom. Thanks to the integration of two measurement systems, the complexity of the design can be further reduced. Any possible parasitic influences are thus reduced to a minimum. There are various applications in which our force measuring MEMS pins are used: •Boom tips •Luffing jibs •Measuring points with variable cable looping But of course, many other applications are conceivable. By default, our force measuring pins offer additional features in addition to a customized design: •Integrated amplifier (4-20mA, CANopen, optional CANopen Safety) •Design capable of sustained operation •Temperature compensated from -40 ... + 80 °C •High EMC resistance of 200 V/m •No zero drift, i.e. no re-calibration required •Consistent accuracy over the entire temperature range •Design for tensile and / or compressive forces •Load limit 150% and breaking load 300% of the nominal load •Security classification PL c / SIL 1 •Protection class IP66 / IP67 in accordance with DIN EN 60529 •Calibration of reproduced installation situation including test report
