Bearing force sensor
For the flexible measurement of radial forces
BROSA bearing force sensors are used in bearings, in order to record the reaction forces occurring there with constant or variable application of force. By means of this solution, a measurement of all radial forces that act on the bearing can be performed. This is possible, because the force sensor can be designed in +/- direction. As with all force measuring sensors from BROSA, the bearing force sensor can also be individually adapted to the respective bearing type and the installation situation. A calibration that corresponds to the respective installation situation ensures for a precise measurement and therefore a high measuring accuracy.
There are various applications in which our force measuring pins are used:
• Winch
• Transmission
• Bearing forces
Bearing force sensors offer the advantage to detect all radial reaction forces which apply at the bearing.
By default, our bearing force sensors offer additional features in addition to a customized design.
• Integrated amplifier (4-20mA, CANopen, optional CANopen Safety, PROFINET, optional PROFINET PROFIsafe)
• Design capable of sustained operation
• Temperature compensated from -40 ... + 80 °C
• High EMC resistance of 200 V/m
• No zero drift, i.e. no re-calibration required
• Consistent accuracy over the entire temperature range
• Design for tensile and / or compressive forces
• Load limit 150% and breaking load 300% of the nominal load
• Security classification PL c / SIL
• Protection class IP66 / IP67 in accordance with DIN EN 60529
• Calibration of reproduced installation situation including test reportHigh EMC resistance
