Measuring Principle The acceleration sensor operatesaccording to the piezo-electricRingshear principle. In the sensor thepiezo-element and an internal massforms a spring-mass damping system. When this system is subjected to vibrations, an electrical charge proportional to the vibration acceleration is produced.
