Low frequency microphone Type 4193 is designed for infrasound measurements over a frequency range of 0.07 Hz to 20 kHz. The microphone is externally polarized and must be used with a classical preamplifier.
Type 4193 Low Frequency Microphone is built for making infrasound measurement in ship engine rooms, in helicopters and in wind-buffeted buildings, due to its extremely low cut-off frequency.
When used with Infrasound Adaptor UC-0211, the lower limiting frequency of the preamplifier is reduced to 0.1 Hz.

POLARIZATION VOLTAGE
Type 4193 requires an external polarization voltage and must therefore must be used with a classical preamplifier. External polarized microphones may be used at higher temperatures without severe changes in sensitivity.
TEDS MICROPHONES
This microphone cartridge is available as a Infrasound Microphone Set with the classical Preamplifier Type 2669 built-in.The TEDS microphone has been sealed in a clean environment. The TEDS is programmed with the loaded sensitivity of the actual cartridge and the data is therefore readily available.
