The remote control cable combines proven telecommunications technology with the latest cable technology. The cables consists of four twisted copper wires and can be used to transmit a wide range of remote data. The wire diameter is 0.8 mm, and the electrical characteristics make the cables compatible with all existing configurations. Through the application of glass yarns as tensile reinforcement the cables are lighter than existing designs, which makes cable laying easier. The sealed steel sheathing screens the wires from electromagnetic interference, protects the cable from high lateral pressure and rodents, and seals the cable core against humidity and water. Thanks to its superior mechanical properties the remote control cable can be used in all standard applications as well as more demanding applications.
