A new dimension in detection
Hardened to military standards, reliable and robust; RAID-XP is able to detect, identify and continuously monitor Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA) & Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC) using a high end Ion Mobility Spectrometer.
Simultaneously semiconductor sensors and two photo diodes are used for the detection and quantification of gamma radiation, dose rate and accumulated dose. Data monitoring and interrogation is achieved through a clear, unambiguous dual display and easy to operate integral software menus. RS232 and GPS interface are enabled.
Applications
To mitigate the combined threats from both chemical warfare agents (CWA) and/or radiation, Bruker has developed the innovative RAID-XP Series.
The RAID-XP combines chemical and radiological threat detection into a single system, and provide the enhancement of also detecting toxic industrial chemicals (TIC).
Typical applications include
Military use, especially perimeter monitoring, counter-terrorism and civil defence applications
Installation to mobile platforms such as ships, reconnaissance vehicles, mobile laboratories, and civilian and police emergency response vehicles

Specifications
Combined sensors for Radiological detection and CWA's
The RAID-XP Series provides dual chemical and nuclear detection capabilities in a lightweight, man-portable platform.
The detection systems combine the principle of ion mobility spectrometry, the de-facto standard for CWA/TIC detection, and PiN diodes are used to detect gamma radiation, displaying dose rate and accumulated dose.
