Description

The OMEGA 5 is the all-in-one FT-IR solution for gas analysis. Your advantages: • Automated, high-precision, and real-time monitoring of gas concentrations • Calibration-free quantification • Compensation of interferents • Temperature up to 191 °C • High pressure option up to 15 bar absolute (standard: up to 2 bar absolute) • Spectral resolution better than 1 cm⁻¹ (standard: better than 2 cm⁻¹) • TE-MCT detector • Sealed and purgeable optics • DryPath™ feature (no external purge gas needed) • Easy operation and maintenance • Gas library with more than 390 compounds OMEGA 5 is a compact FT-IR gas analysis system in a 19-inch rack-mount box equipped with a 5 m multi-reflection gas cell for the automated, high-precision, and real-time monitoring of gas concentrations across various applications. The design of the gas cell is optimized for a high optical throughput to enable the quantification of gas compounds even for very low concentrations in the range of parts-per-billion (ppb). The optics of OMEGA 5 is sealed and purgeable which enables to constantly minimize the concentration of atmospheric interfering compounds like water and carbon dioxide. With the unique DryPath™ option it is even possible to keep these atmospheric interfering compounds at the lowest level without the need for an external purge gas. From the measurements, the gas concentrations are retrieved automatically by a nonlinear fitting procedure within the comprehensive gas analysis software OPUS GA, without the need for gas calibrations or expert knowledge. The analysis routine also takes into account the temperature and pressure of the gas and compensates the signal of interfering gas compounds.
