BT-64 Infrared thermometer is the ultimate tool for temperature measurements. It contains two most reliable temperature sensors:
1) Non-contact Micro Machining mechanism
2) K-type thermocouple socket (K probe is optional)
Such an arrangement can fulfil most temperature measurement requirements:
Use the Non-contact for an instant; not-reachable situation.
Use the thermocouple for high precision; in the non-surface case.
BT-64 Thermometer comes with ultra-long battery life (8days for an alkaline battery), thanks to our "Low Voltage Technology" is introduced below. The BT series thermometers use only the most affordable and available AAA size battery.
Emissivity with the Templorer:
Emissivity is difficult for general users to catch; it's easy to get for thermometers. Use the contact thermometer to get the accurate temperature. Then, use the Non-contact to reach the surface temperature. Adjust the Emissivity until they are the same. Thus, the memorized Emissivity for that object will remain for future usage. There is no more guessing or looking upon the Emissivity Table.
BST Technology
Low Voltage Technology
Thanks to our power-saving technology. The BST IR Thermometers operate with a 3 Volt power supply, while many other traditional IR products require a 9 Volt supply. The BST IR thermometers use 3 Volt alkaline AA batteries, which provide continuously 8 days of operation.
Thermal Shock Immunity
BST IR Thermometers can withstand a thermal shock of 10°C /18°F. (Please refer to the standardized test method described in EN12470, Paragraph 7.6.) Our products are good at maintaining accuracy under widely changing environmental conditions.
