Vacuum pressing using a polyurethane pocket will allow you to bend plywood but also to glue veneer with considerable time savings compared to gluing under a clamp. The wood thus becomes shapeable in 3 D for the great pleasure of the designers of wooden objects. Our vacuum bag works without a vacuum pump, only with the help of a compressor. We use the venturi system which consists of using the positive pressure of a compressor to generate a vacuum. The negative vacuum pressure can reach up to 8 tons/m2. Which is more than enough for bending wood and pressing the veneer. The available vacuum bag sizes are: - 135x200cm - 135x300cm - 160x200cm - 160x300cm Why prefer PU to PVC? - PVC is easily pierced - PVC has shape memory. it, therefore, maintains the shape of your parts which is a major drawback when manufacturing parts of different sizes and shapes. Our vacuum bags have a double opening and are resistant to 150 ºC
