Description

Pair Cables with moisture barrier sheath Unfilled solid polyethylene insulated unit twin cable, from 50 to 2400 pairs, with copper conductors of diameters 0.4, 0.5, 0.63 and 0.9 mm. Solid PE insulation, twisted into pairs and stranded into units of 25 pairs with moisture barrier sheath. They are used basically on the “E” side (central) of the network access as terminal cable in the PCP´s and MDF´s. The cable is unfilled and is capable of being pressurized. Telecommunication Cable UV resistant ROHS Compliant STANDARDS Construction: BT CW 1171 / BT CW 1179 CONSTRUCTION  Conductors: Annealed copper, 0.40, 0.50, 0.63 and 0.90 mm nominal diameters.  Insulation: Solid polyethylene.  Cabling elements: Pairs.  Lay-up. Stranding into units of 25 pairs. Cables with more than 400 pairs use double or quadruple units of 50 or 100 pairs.  Core wrapping. Paper tape, longitudinally applied with overlap.  Cable screen. Polyethylene coated aluminium tape, longitudinally applied with overlap and bonded to the outer PE sheath.  Sheath: UV resistant black polyethylene.  Sheath marking : The outer sheath shall be marked in white ink, at regular intervals, with the following information: o Name of manufacturer/ Year/ Length marks o Other type of marks according to the costumer
