Petroleum filled armoured multiconductors railway signaling cables, ADIF standard
Cables from 4 to 61 polyethylene insulated conductors with diameter of 1.4 mm. The conductors are stranded in layers to form the core that is filled with petroleum filing compound and protected by an EAPSP sheath. They are used as railway signalling cables. For installation in ducts or directly buried. This sheath is rodent resistant.

Construction: ADIF ET-03.365.051.6 2nd Edition
CONSTRUCTION
Conductors: Annealed copper wire, 1.4 mm in diameter.
Insulation: Solid polyethylene.
Cabling elements: Insulated conductors.
Lay-up: Stranded in layers. Colour code as per ADIF ET-03.365.051.6.
Filling compound: PE jelly.
Core wrapping. Dielectric tape longitudinal applied with overlap.
Cable screen. Aluminium copolymer tape, longitudinal applied with overlap and
bonded to the polyethylene internal sheath.
Inner sheath: Polyethylene.
Armour: Corrugated copolymer coated steel tape, longitudinally applied with
overlap.
Outer sheath: UV resistant black polyethylene.
Sheath marking : The sheath shall be marked, at a regular intervals with the
following information
o Name of manufacturer/ Year/ Length marks
o Other type of marks according to the costumer
