Quad cable nº6, moisture barrier sheath Cables with 7 to 114 star quads (14 to 228 pairs), conductors of 0.63 and 0.9 mm, cellular PE insulation. Quads are stranded into layers to form the core which is protected by a moisture barrier sheath. They are used as primary cables in distribution networks inside ducts. Telecommunications Cable UV resistant ROHS conforms STANDARDS Construction: BT CW 1280 / CW 1179 CONSTRUCTION  Conductors: Annealed Cooper of 0.63 and 0.90 mm nominal diameter.  Insulation: Cellular polyethylene.  Cabling elements: Star quads.  Core: Stranded into layers in alternate directions.  Core wrapping. Paper tape, longitudinally applied with overlap.  Cable screen. Polyethylene coated aluminium tape longitudinally applied with overlap and bonded to the external PE sheath.  Sheath: UV resistant black PE.  Sheath marking : The outer sheath shall be marked in white ink, at regular intervals, with the following information: o Name of manufacturer/ Year/ Length marks o Other type of marks according to the costumer
