The 3D microphone array is used for spatial 3D Beamforming. The object is located in the array for the 3D Beamforming process. With only one measurement the acoustic behaviour of the 3 dimensional object can be displayed.
Depending on the application it can be used between 40 up to 400 microphones. Even the array size can be chosen between 80 cm x 80 cm x 80 cm up to the integration of the micrphones in a whole room.
size of the acoustic camera from 400 mm up to 5000 mm or even complete rooms e.g. anechoic chamber
