Description

8 independently controllable full floating channels 6kV / 100 µA output range 100 mV voltage monitor resolution Current monitor resolution: high range: 1nA low range: 50pA Programmable voltage ramp up / down rates Typical voltage ripple smaller than 3 mVpp (1 KHz ÷ 20 MHz) Overcurrent programmable protections Programmable TRIP parameter SHV connectors Current generator operation in overcurrent condition Overview A1632H is a single width board (5TE wide) that houses 8 individual floating channels, delivered through SHV connectors. The output voltage is 0 ÷ 6000 V with 100mV set/monitor resolution. The maximum current value is 100µA with a 2nA setting resolution. The channels share a Individual Floating Channels, which allows on-detector grounding, reducing the noise level. A global enable/disable connector allows to disable the channels. The voltage ramp rates may be set independently for each channel and offer dual current ranges (software selectable). Safety features allows the module to perform as a current generator and includes: Channels can be enabled or disabled through the Global Interlock logic. Overvoltage and Undervoltage warning when the output voltage differs from the programmed value. Overcurrent detection: when a channel attempts to exceed the programmed current limit, it signalled to be in “overcurrent” and enter in a TRIP status. The output voltage is varied to keep the current below the programmed limit for a programmable TRIP time, then the channel is switched off. If TRIP is set to “constant current mode”, the channel behaves like a current generator.
