The PyroMini is a miniature IR temperature sensor designed to deliver outstanding results while measuring temperatures from -20 to 1,000°C. It is equipped with an extremely compact sensing head. Its electronics module can be configured to suit many industrial applications. The sensor is equipped with a choice of RS485 Modbus or 4-20mA outputs. An innovative touchscreen interface (optional) displays temperature readings and allows users to configure the sensor’s settings. To indicate an alarm condition, the screen displays a vivid red colour. An optional high-ambient sensing head can endure temperatures up to 180°C with no requirement for cooling – ideal for use in and around many ovens and dryers. Touchscreen versions can be equipped with a MicroSD Card if required, that allows recording of data. All versions are equipped with configurable emissivity setting for measuring a range of material types. Temperature readings are steady even if the cable connecting the sensing head is moved. For this reason, the PyroMini (HA and JA model) is perfectly qualified for installation on dynamic equipment such as robotic arms. Models with optional touch screen interface have two 24 V DC rated alarm relay outputs with no need for a trip amplifier. The touchscreen displays the current, average, maximum and minimum temperature readings. The PyroMini is extremely suited to measure the temperatures of surfaces like thick plastic, painted materials, food, paper, tarmac, rubber, fabrics and so on.
