GS650 with 650 mm rotor is a single-shaft machine with radial pusher and electric motor drive. The large shredding surface are allows higher hourly throughput. The parallel shaft gear reducer and automatic reversal of the direction of rotation mean that these machines are extremely powerful single-shaft shredders. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic power pack with an inverter driven 5.5 kW motor to supply oil to the pusher and screen opening hydraulic cylinders.
