The rotary screen is a system for separating material of predetermined piece size.
Thanks to their special construction design, these machines provide high throughputs and good sizing precision, the ability to transport heavy “foreign” materials, and excellent wear resistance.
The rotary screen is a system to separate material to obtain a predetermined piece size.
Installed horizontally in a robust metalwork structure and mounted on wheels running in turned tracks, the screen generates rotary motion that agitates the material it contains.
The system is generally equipped with interchangeable perforated sheet steel panels around the perimeter of the rotary drum, with holes of different diameters in the material infeed section versus the discharge section. The drum is caused to rotate by an electric motor or hydraulic unit and it can be angled to optimize and extend the flow-through time of the
material it contains.
