This device is expressly designed to separate light from heavy materials by exploiting the effects of combined undulatory and shaking motion. Designed to divide shredded materials of identical particle size but with different weight density.
The system operates dry by means of eccentric weights and it imparts vibration of the slightly inclined plane on which the material travels, causing light material to rise and heavier material to fall. Installed in a pressurized chamber, the separator moves in the opposite direction to the air flows, which can be regulated by means of pneumatic gate dampers. The air flows cause the removal of heavier or lighter bodies with respect to the specified size and weight. Material processed on densimetric separation tables reaches purity levels of up to 98%.
