The NC 4AC version belongs to 400E (500) model is manufactured by Cams, and is a heavy duty slotting machine that has a drastic reduction in tooling times and machine setup. It has an enhanced machining performance due to the brush-less motor and servo-drive, which assure a constant torque throughout machining from start to finish. The unit is produced from electric arc welded sheet metal of sturdy thickness, adequately ribbed and heat treated for internal stress relieving. It also has automatic grease pumps interfaced with the computer lubricate travel-ways on the table, which are the head, rack and pinion system.
