Resistance welder STW 150

High precision, maximum operational safety combined with economic use of raw materials and energy, and minimal reject rates. The welding bodymaker STW is the heart of a three-piece can production line with traditional tongue opening system. On an off-line press a tab will be manufactured and via coil transferred to the first section of the welder. There the body blanks will be scored for the opening system and the tab will be welded to the flat body blank. In the rollformer station the body blanks are formed into their basic shape and resistance welded. The STW welding bodymaker is manufactured in our Swiss plant in Bergdietikon.
