Automatic sorting and measuring of gemstones, that's what the machine FourC stands for. In order to set gemstones, i.e. brilliants as well as baguette and princess stones, fully automatic on the machines 5@light and 5@work, their exact external dimensions must be known. In a specially developed procedure, the FourC measures the gemstones and then magazines the stones separately in special pallets. The measured values of each single stone are stored. The magazines and the measured values of the gemstones are then further processed in one of our machining centres 5@light or 5@work. In addition to measuring and magazining the stones, the FourC can also be used for sorting (i.e. calibrating). In this case, the stones are measured and categorised in previously freely definable size divisions. This gives you quick and easy an exact overview over the number and size of the gemstones that are in stock.
