The centrifuge as central component of a system.
All the automatic centrifuges need a perfect periphery in order to operate as effectively as possible. All elements in a system are chosen with an eye to the type of chip encountered, to deliver optimum results.
In an automatic system, only chips of one type of metal are processed as the batch will otherwise become contaminated. The CEPA FLEXOMAT or several automatic systems are a good solution for de-oiling multiple metal types, depending on the quantities encountered. The device at the heart of the system, the centrifuge, is chosen based on the type, quantity and shape of the chips.
System components in automatic operation
For its planning task CEPA takes account not just of the current situation, but also of possible future scenarios: in partnership with you, we create a future-proof system that will serve you dependably for many years to come. Once you have settled on a specific type of centrifuge, the plant components are planned. As well as the centrifuge itself, these include lift-and-tilt devices, crushers, and feed and discharge conveyors. These components are chosen as required, to give you always the best solution.
Delivery of the chips, sludge or shredder material: the chips are collected in chip trolleys at the processing machine and brought to the system. A lift-and-tilt device fills them into the feed conveyor. Alternatively the conveyor can be loaded directly at the processing machine.
The centrifuge is fed continually by a conveyor or screw. If long chips need to be processed, a crusher must be installed upstream of the centrifuge to make the chips short and pourable before they reach the system.
