Carlisle Brake & Friction's Twin QuickFill Boosted Master Cylinder, utilizes patented QuickFill technology to deliver up to 100% more oil volume to a vehicle's brake system than can be achieved by a traditional twin boosted master cylinder. Vehicle manufacturers can leverage this additional available oil volume to provide benefits to their customers including; reduced vehicle fuel costs (due to reduced wet brake parasitic drag), reduced pedal travel, reduced pedal efforts (for improved driver comfort) and an overall enhanced driving experience. Brake output pressures can also be increased, enabling secondary braking requirements to be achieved without the need for system accumulators, generating free space in the engine compartment and reducing brake system complexity and cost.
