WIDTH EXTENSION SETS With front guides and jaws the digging width can be extended from 600 mm to 1500 mm LENGTH EXTENSION Sets with side guides and jaws the digging opening can be extended from 2200 to 2500 mm on the KHD 22, from 2500 mm to 3200 mm on the KHD 25 grab and from 2800 to 4000 mm on the KHD 28 grab. ADDITIONAL WEIGHT The additional modular weight increases the impact energy of the grab in hard soil and rock. HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS Two hydraulic cylinders and the jaws balancing guide ensure fast and effective excavation. HYDRAULIC TURNING JOINT The hydraulic turning joint allows precise alignment of the grab with the trench and operation at various angles which is useful on limited working sites. Complete rotation of the grab by +/- 180 degrees TEETH Wear sharp for high penetration and center rib for great strength. Hammerless tooth system featuring for simply preplacement and integrated locking device for higher safety. CLEANERS AND CHISEL The chisel is integrated into the main body of the grab and provides more efficient excavation. Large side ejectors ensure complete emptying of the excavation material.
