Metal detector for the wood industry METAL SHARK® RD

The SHARK® RD is specially manufactured for rough industrial applications at saw mills and forestry and for large products such as wood logs. The whole log metal detector features 500 to 1300 mm (19,7 to 51,2 inch) diameter round aperture and also comes as METAL SHARK®-1 METAL SHARK®-2 digital controllers. The device is installed in typically in a half pipe shaped conveyor. The detector built of aluminium housings completely shields against transient influences that cause false/nuisance tripping. It is the most technologically advanced metal detector available with the highest metal sensitivity and short metal free zone. The exclusive 4 channel DDS and DSP microprocessor ensures consistent accuracy and stability. The system examines the product and automatically adjusts and compensates various parameters such as different species, moisture, VFD`s and pitch ensuring 95% less false / nuisance tripping. The single board microprocessor with multiple filters eliminates undesirable noise. The rugged and maintenance free detector is password protected.
