Description
HIGH-SILVER CONTENT CADFREE® BRAZING ALLOY CONTAINING NICKEL AND MANGANESE.
1703 is a silver alloy containing Ni and Mn and is designed for the brazing of hard metals. It is recommended for joining steel tools and sintered carbides.
The presence of nickel gives excellent wetting for sintered carbides like tungsten carbides for cutting tools.
Manganese has good deoxidising powers and nickel increases the strength.
