The honeycomb slices are loaded and pinned in the sliding brackets by the operator, expansion is electrical. Designed for alloys 3000 series, maximum slice thickness 100 mm, maximum honeycomb density 80 kg/m³. Lower densities allow higher thicknesses, with special brackets. For cells smaller than Ø 6 mm*, aircraft grade honeycomb and densities higher than 80 kg/m³, the maximum expandable thickness is reduced accordingly. It is essential that the costumer specify the type of honeycomb (diameter of cells and alloy) and the dimensions he intends to expand the slices in order to fix the final dimension of the expanding machine.
