Sulfuric acid dilution skids
Function
Continuous, secure and
economical sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
diluted, cold and at a fixed concentration, at
from concentrated acid and water.
Principle
Concentrated acid and water are mixed in a specific device called a dilutor.
The reaction is strongly exothermic.
The dilute acid produced therefore exits at a temperature
high. It is then cooled in a Carbonite® heat exchanger.
Our offer
Calculation of the heat balance of the specified dilution to define and optimize the components to be retained
Diluents in Carbonite® and PTFE
Carbonite® heat exchangers
Centrifugal, dosing, pneumatic pumps
All devices, connecting pipes and frame
Coolant management
Regulation and safety
Assembly and commissioning on site
Abilities
Centrifugal pumps in Carbonite® or plastic materials from 1m3/h to 700 m3/h
Compact Carbonite® heat exchangers from 0.7 m² to 150 m²
Standard or custom agitators, vertical or lateral installation
Benefits
Savings on intermediate storage
Lower acid transport costs (only concentrated acid is transported)
Rapidly operational dilution skid
Diluted acid comes out cold, so immediately usable
Flexibility of use in relation to the nominal flow
Variation in the concentration and temperature of the dilute acid possible
