Description

ROTATEX™ G550 E60B comprises a glass laid scrim affixed to a 60 gsm non-woven PET layer. The modified SBR adhesive is temperature-stable and compatible with bitumen. This complex can be used on rapid and high-performance impregnation lines, owing to the tensile strength and dimensional stability provided by the glass laid scrim. The surface appearance of the non-woven PET layer allows good bitumen impregnation, without the layer being entirely coated, thus leaving a white side that is available for subsequent treatments. One possible application for this product is the production of soundproofing membranes to be laid under tiles to reduce noise levels.
