Description

The ROBA®-contitorque is a magnetic safety brake based on the hysteresis principle. Magnetic forces transmit the torque of the safety clutch synchronously and without contact from the input side to the output side. After an overload has occurred, the clutch slips, i.e. the input and output sides move at a relative speed to each other - the so-called slip speed. In case of overload, the clutch torque is equal to the set torque.
