CS42L92 is a low power, 32-bit, multichannel high-fidelity audio codec featuring four stereo headphone drivers and up to four analog and eight digital microphone inputs. A smart accessory interface with multipurpose impedance sensing and measurement capabilities, supports dual detection of 3.5 mm and USB-C headsets connectors and push buttons. An integrated DSP provides general-purpose signal processing capability with a general-purpose timer and event-logger functions. The CS42L92 is configured using the SLIMbus, SPI™, or I²C interfaces. Voice and ultrasonic input paths run concurrent with native audio playback at sample rates up to 384 kHz. The power, clocking, and output driver architectures are designed to maximize battery life in voice, music, and standby modes. Low power (10 µA) Sleep Mode is supported, with configurable wake-up events (e.g., voice-trigger) using either analog or digital input. The device is powered from 1.8 V and 1.2 V supplies.
