Description

The CS47L63 is a high-performance low-power audio DSP for earbud headphones and other portable audio devices. The CS47L63 combines a programmable Halo Core DSP with a variety of power-efficient fixed-function audio processors. The high-performance DAC and differential output driver are optimized for direct connection to the external headphone load. The Halo Core DSP is integrated within a fully flexible, all-digital mixing and routing engine with sample-rate converters, for wide use-case flexibility. The CS47L63 supports up to four analog inputs or up to four PDM digital inputs. Low-power input modes are available for always-on (e.g., voice-trigger) functionality using either analog or digital input. Two digital audio serial ports are provided, each supporting multichannel operation at sample rates up to 192 kHz. Two FLLs are integrated, providing support for a wide range of system-clock frequencies. The CS47L63 is configured using a control interface which supports I2C and SPI modes of operation. The device is powered from 1.8 V and 1.2 V supplies. Features Mono differential output headphone driver Audio playback up to 192 kHz sample rate SNR 99 dB, mic input @ 48 kHz Headphone playback 120 dB SNR Total harmonic distortion and noise -93 dB (THD+N) 4 analog microphone (DMIC) inputs Flexible clocking, low frequency-locked loops (FLLs) support reference clocks down to 32 kHz Up to 12 GPIO pins Low power 10 µA sleep mode Powered from 1.8 V and 1.2 V supplies Small WLCSP package, 0.4 mm staggered 61-ball array
