Like all other JUM heated FIDs, the JUM 3-500 is a highly reliable, extremely forgiving, and rugged rack or benchtop heated total hydrocarbon (THC) analyzer. Designed for very low drift, it has high accuracy, sensitivity and stability. The JUM 3-500 uses a hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID ) in a heated oven to avoid loss of high molecular weight hydrocarbons and to provide reliable performance in analyzing high concentrations down to very low levels of VOCs from air emissions or in theambient air. All parts and components containing the sample are discreetly integrated into an easy-to-maintain heated chamber. The disposable heated sample filter is easily accessible in the rear panel.
The combustion air supply for the detector is integrated. No air generator or external synthetic air cylinder is required.
The JUM 3-500 is a standard emission analyzer and therefore optimized in accordance with the European specifications EN-12619: 2013.
A compact portable version of the JUM analyzer exists: the FID JUM 3-200. For double oven VOC measurements in MHC, NMHC and THC the JUM 109A is undoubtedly the most reliable, stable and robust FID analyzer on the market.
